WHAT IS DIEN CHAN ?
Unlocking the hidden potential power of “the face”
Diện means "face," and Chẩn means "diagnosis". Diện Chẩn refers to diagnosing health conditions through the facial skin and the surface of the entire body.
In the Vietnamese language, the word "mặt" (face/surface) appears in many compound words. In the sky, there is the sun (mặt trời) and the moon (mặt trăng); On the ground, there is the earth's surface (mặt đất) and the water's surface (mặt nước). In daily life, there are the surface of a table (mặt bàn), surface of a chair (mặt ghế), surface of paper (mặt giấy), surface of a stove (mặt bếp), surface of a TV, and houses with front facades (nhà mặt tiền).
The face not only represents a body part but also embodies honor and personal character, as reflected in Vietnamese expressions like "thay mặt cho..." - to represent...) or "mất mặt" - to loose trust, shame.
